Christmas Day 2009

Molly also got two stuffed toys for Christmas.   A Pink Bear that says My First Christmas and a Christmas Bulldog.   She likes them - but after the toy that sweaked - she kind of acted like they should "do" something!

Christmas Eve 2009

Larry bought "his baby" a toy at Walgreens.   It makes a really loud, kind of different sound.   At first Molly wouldn't have anything to do with it..... Larry was a little upset because he thought she didn't like it.   I told him to just watch and give her time - that she would check it out.   It didn't take but a couple of minutes and she was playing with it.    She played for about two hours non-stop.  Larry finally took it away from her and told her to rest a while - the noise is a little obnoxious after a while!    But she loves her toy her Daddy bought her!

Going to the Woods

We went to put out some corn and the camera on Wednesday, December 23rd and Molly was so excited to go with us.    Larry was putting the corn feeder on a tree and the strap slipped and he fell backward and the strap hit Molly - she yelped and ran and was so scared.    It started swelling right under her eye.   I think it's going to be okay.    I know it hurts but she has not slowed down any!

Christmas Week 2009

Molly Turns 6 Months Old!

I thought it would be cute to take Molly's 6 month picture outside by some of the Christmas decorations.   Of course all Molly wanted to do was run and play and did not want to sit still long enough to make pictures.   So I guess it's just good I got these - even though they aren't very good.

Surgery

I took Molly to the Vet  (Dr. May's) on Thursday, December 17 to have her spayed.    The photos above show her in the truck on the way to the vets. The silver is foil on the "Amy Cake" that Molly brought the staff for Christmas.   She kind of knew that we were not on a normal "errand" trip.    She did well with the surgery and we picked her up around 5:30 that afternoon.    She laid in our laps until it was time to go to bed and we put her on the bed with us and she went right back to sleep.    Friday morning I got to missing her and she had gone in the bedroom and jumped up on the bed - something she normally doesn't do.    She laid in my lap a lot today and slept.    She did play "fetch" with her gingerbread for a few minutes with her Daddy before bedtime.    They also pulled that sharp little tooth that caused us to holler in pain when she played with us and "chewed" on us!    Thank goodness!

Bath Time

I have been meaning to get photos of Molly getting a bath and finally got some pics.   I was by myself and went to get the camera and Molly jumped out of the tub and ran in the living room.    Larry had to "mop" up water!     They look so totally different wet.    The bottom photo is me holding her and blow drying her hair.   She is so pretty when she has had a bath and her hair combed.    Her Dad combs her hair!

Molly thinks she has to "help" me make the bed every morning.   She had never jumped on the bed until November 6th - We had gotten home from the mountains and she had been at the Vet's all week.   So when it came time to go to bed she jumped on the bed with us.   Larry made her get down and get into her bed.   Over the next few weeks, she would jump on the bed, Larry would make her get down and during the night - as Larry says - she would "sneak" on the bed during the middle of the night.   Now she just goes ahead and jumps on the bed and Larry doesn't say anything!

Gingerbread

Larry and I went shopping in Jackson on Saturday and I went in Bed, Bath & Beyond  to shop.    Walking down the isle, I saw this Gingerbread Dog Toy and knew Molly would have to have it.   She had just about worn her bear out we got her on vacation and needed a "happy" for being home alone on a Saturday.    She is definately used to us being at home on the weekends.   But she was real good while we were gone - Brent took her out a couple of times.
